A fake Twitter account IDs Martin Van Buren as '8th President, founder of Democratic Party, criminally underrated statesman'
By M. Alex Johnson, msnbc.com
In the old days, presidents had to rely on written messages and speeches to get their thoughts across. But what if there had been Twitter?
Among the many thousands of fake accounts on Twitter are those for at least 28 dead presidents of the U.S.?In honor of Presidents Day, we've rounded up as many as we could find. Silent Cal? Not so silent. Tricky Dick? Just as foul-mouthed as the Watergate tapes suggest.
We're excluding living former presidents on the theory that they have fingers and could tweet anyway.

Real estate investing has been a popular investment procedure for as long as people have owned property. Of course, as the world advanced, this kind of investing has gotten more complicated, but as it?s for ages been the essential purpose remains the same today. Buying home, either developed or undeveloped, with the intention of selling it for income at some time in the future. There are lots of ways to do this, from simply owning the house for an amount of years while the value increases to building or improving on the house to produce additional value.
In the past four years, the property values in many places have actually been down because of the difficult economic situation and high price of bank foreclosures. In some elements of the country this has driven costs of homes down by around 30-45% compared with their highest values. While this does demonstrate the undeniable fact that even real estate investing does have chance, it has also offered some exceptional opportunities for savvy investors to grab some property for extremely low prices.
Unlike many other investment forms, real-estate can never be useless since it is a physical piece of property. In addition, it is not something that we could make far more of, so you can find restrictions on the quantity of property which can be available on the market. Although it isn?t without dangers that makes Real estate investing more reliable than many other forms. The value of property is based on several factors. The area of the home is one of the largest considerations. Real-estate in or around a town is probably planning to be worth much more than the usual similar property outside of town.
The form of building or improvement to the property may also have a large effect on the value of the home since any design is often the most costly investment linked to real-estate. Yet another thing to consider when considering real-estate investing is if you will find any organic things on the price could be pushed up by the property. Because there?s more which may be done on the property things like lakes or rivers can often boost the importance of the property significantly. As with any type of investing, it?s crucial that you get all of the information regarding the property you are considering purchasing before making a final decision If done right Real estate investing can be extremely successful.

LA CROSSE, Wis. ? Micha Mims joined the 1,000-point club, Emily Greiner poured in a game-high 28 points and Becca Lampe knocked down some big free throws late as the 13th-ranked Mount Mercy women?s basketball team wrapped up the regular season with a 70-65 victory at Viterbo (Wis.) on Saturday at R.W. Beggs Gymnasium.
The Mustangs nearly saw a 16-point lead slip away in the second half. Mount Mercy trailed for most of the first period but led, 31-30, at the break. They were up, 63-47, with six minutes to go before a V-Hawk comeback that had the home team within two, 67-65, with 21 seconds remaining. Lampe hit 3-of-4 free throws and blocked a 3-point attempt by Jenna Engh that sealed Mount Mercy?s eighth straight Midwest Collegiate Conference victory.
Mims was held to just six points on Saturday, but she needed only five to become the 27th player in school history to score 1,000 points. Greiner, who joined the 1,000-point club earlier this season, drilled four 3-pointers and was 8-of-10 at the foul line during her 28-point outing. She also had four rebounds and four steals.
Lampe was scoreless until those three free throws in the last 21 seconds, but the points were huge. So were her team-high seven rebounds. Bria Fields ended up with 12 points and five boards, Laura Lippert had nine points, three blocked shots and three steals and Amanda Frost talled six points and four rebounds.
Laquita Becker?s 13 points and 11 rebounds led the V-Hawks, who beat Mount Mercy the first time around, 54-51, on Jan. 21 in Cedar Rapids. Shannon O?Toole had 11 points and seven boards while Dani Templin and Brooke Anderson chipped in eight points each.
Mount Mercy (23-7, 15-3 MCC) earned the No. 2 seed in the 2012 MCC Women?s Basketball Tournament and will host seventh-seeded Ashford (10-19, 6-12 MCC) in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Hennessey Recreation Center. Other quarterfinal matchups include eighth-seeded AIB (13-17, 6-12 MCC) at top-seeded Grand View (25-5, 17-1 MCC), sixth-seeded St. Ambrose (12-15, 8-10 MCC) at third-seeded Iowa Wesleyan (17-10, 13-5 MCC) and fifth-seeded Viterbo (10-20, 8-10 MCC) at fourth-seeded William Penn (11-18, 9-9 MCC).
Saturday?s semifinal games are hosted by the highest remaining seeds and will be played at 7:00 p.m. If the Mustangs win their quarterfinal, they would host the winner of Iowa Wesleyan and St. Ambrose. The other semifinal would feature the Grand View/AIB winner against the William Penn/Viterbo winner. The MCC championship game will be hosted by the highest remaining seed on Monday, Feb. 27, at 7:00 p.m.
With 10 teams in the league this year, the MCC gets two automatic berths in the national tournament. The regular season and tournament champions get those. If it?s the same team, the runner-up in the regular season receives the second bid. The 21st Annual NAIA Division II Women?s Basketball National Championship is March 7-13 at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City.
